Nuclear Regulatory Commission Submits Revision to Information Collection for Disposal of High-Level Radioactive Wastes

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a revision to its information collection for the disposal of high-level radioactive wastes in geologic repositories, seeking public comment on the proposal under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The NRC requires states or Indian tribes to submit information only once, and estimates that 2 organizations will respond annually, requiring approximately 6 hours of effort.
