Proposed Amendment of Class E Airspace; Kutztown, PA

This proposed rule would amend Class E5 Airspace at Kutztown, PA. The development of a new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) at Kutztown Airport based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet above ground level (AGL) is needed to accommodate this SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations to the airport. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
