Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Point Pleasant, WV

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Point Pleasant, WV. The development of new Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) at the Mason County Airport based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet above ground level (AGL) is needed to accommodate this SIAP and for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
