Saab Model SAAB 2000 Series Airplanes to Undergo Inspection and Repair Due to Interference Issues

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring a one-time inspection and repair of certain Saab Model SAAB 2000 series airplanes to address interference issues between the wing rear access door and hydraulic tubes, as well as chafing damage to the tubes. The inspection and repair are aimed at preventing potential failure of critical systems and reduced airplane controllability.
