Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Allentown, PA

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Allentown,, PA. The development of a new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) at Allentown Queen City Airport has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
