Federal Acquisition Regulation; Government Property

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing to simplify procedures and eliminate requirements related to the management and disposition of Government property in the possession of contractors, as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This change does not require review by the Office of Management and Budget under Executive Order 12866, dated September 30, 1993.
