The Commission requests comments on a petition by Great Plains Radiocasting requesting the allotment of Channel 294C2 at Detroit, Texas, as the community's first local FM service. Channel 294C2 can be allotted to Detroit in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 22.0 kilometers (13.7 miles) northwest in order to avoid a short-spacing conflict with the licensed operation of Station KWSK(FM), Channel 295A, Daingerfield, Texas, at coordinates 33-49-16 NL; 95-24-16 WL.
