The North American Numbering Council (NANC) Issues Recommendations Regarding the Implementation of Telephone Number Portability

The Commission has released a Public Notice which establishes a pleading cycle for comments on the NANC's recommendations regarding local number portability administrators (LPNAs), the duties of LPNAs, the location of regional number portability databases, and technical specifications for the regional databases.
