FDA Approves Halothane for Animal Anesthesia

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to approve an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) for halothane, a general anesthetic for dogs, cats, and other non-food animals, filed by Halocarbon Laboratories, a division of Halocarbon Products Corp.
