FDA Approves New Moxidectin Tablets for Dogs to Prevent Canine Heartworm Infections

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new application by Fort Dodge Animal Health, allowing for the oral use of moxidectin tablets to prevent canine heartworm infections in dogs.
