FDA Announces Public Meeting on Microbial Safety of Produce

The FDA is hosting a public meeting to discuss strategies for reducing microbial food safety risks associated with imported and domestic produce, as part of the President's initiative to enhance the safety of imported and domestic fruits, vegetables, and other foods.
