FDA Approves Orbifloxacin Tablets for Cats with Bacterial Infections
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a new medication, orbifloxacin tablets, for treating bacterial diseases in cats. The medication, developed by Schering-Plough Animal Health, is now available by prescription for veterinary use.
