US Proposes to Lift Fruit Tree Import Restrictions from France

The US government is proposing to allow the importation of certain fruit tree species from France, provided they are grown in private nurseries and certified by the French plant protection service to be disease-free, in an effort to ease restrictions on imports from France without posing a significant risk of introducing plant pests.
