US Department of State Certifies Countries for Shrimp Import Compliance with Sea Turtle Protection

The US Department of State certified 36 countries with commercial shrimp trawl fisheries to meet sea turtle protection standards, while also issuing certifications for China and Nigeria after they met the required conditions, effectively lifting a ban on imports from those countries.
