FDIC Proposes to Rescind Statement of Policy on Domestic Branch Applications

The FDIC is proposing to rescind its Statement of Policy on establishing domestic branches, including remote service facilities, due to outdated information and because the proposed revisions to its applications regulation address all required procedures. The FDIC is conducting a systematic review of its regulations and policies under the Riegle Community Development and Regulatory Improvement Act of 1994.
