Autodesk to Settle Antitrust Charges Over Proposed Acquisition of Softdesk

Autodesk has agreed to settle allegations of violating antitrust laws by abandoning its plan to reacquire the IntelliCADD CAD engine from Boomerang Technology, Inc., following a $90 million acquisition of Softdesk, Inc. that was deemed to substantially lessen competition in the CAD software market.
