Sea Turtle Conservation; Restrictions Applicable to Shrimp Trawling Activities

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is considering new regulations to protect sea turtles in the southeastern Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. The proposed rules would identify specific areas for sea turtle conservation and impose additional measures to reduce turtle mortality in the shrimp trawl fishery.
