Coast Guard Proposes to Relax Barge Size Restrictions in Wrangell Narrows, Alaska

The US Coast Guard is proposing to increase the maximum width of single barges allowed to transit Wrangell Narrows in Alaska from 80 feet to 100 feet, enabling barge operators to carry more cargo and meet growing demand from Alaskan consumers.
