EPA Proposes Reclassification of Pennsylvania Nonattainment Area Due to Clean Air Act Mandate

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to reclassify the Liberty Borough, Pennsylvania nonattainment area as not meeting national air quality standards for particulate matter smaller than 10 micrometers, as mandated by the Clean Air Act, due to the area's failure to meet the required attainment date of December 31, 1994.
