EPA Proposes Tolerance for Avermectin B 1 in Bell Peppers

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a tolerance for combined residues of the insecticide avermectin B 1 and its delta-8,9-isomer on raw bell peppers, following a request from Merck Research Laboratories to establish a maximum permissible level under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
