EPA Approves Illinois' Vehicle Miles Traveled Offset Plan for Chicago Ozone Nonattainment Area

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Illinois' plan to reduce volatile organic compounds in the Chicago area by implementing 127 transportation control measures, which will decrease emissions by more than two tons per day.
