US Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Threatened Status for Atlantic Salmon in Seven Maine Rivers

The National Marine Fisheries Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service have proposed listing a distinct population segment of Anadromous Atlantic Salmon in seven Maine rivers as threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, due to the high risk of becoming endangered in the near future.
