Waiver of Erroneous Payments of Pay and Allowances: VA Amends Regulations

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has amended its regulations to clarify the process for waiving erroneous payments to employees, including pay, allowances, travel, transportation, and relocation expenses. The changes, effective immediately, grant regional office Committees on Waivers and Compromises more authority to grant waivers for claims up to $1,500.
