Administrative Practice and Procedure, Reporting and Recording Requirements, Title 6: ``Pay, Leave, and Allowances'', ``Policy and Procedures Manual for the Guidance of Federal Agencies''

As part of its mandate to provide agencies useful guidance on accounting and internal control matters, GAO periodically updates and revises parts of its ``Policy and Procedures Manual for Guidance of Federal Agencies.'' This notice indicates that proposed revisions to portions of Title 6, ``Pay, Leave, and Allowances,'' of GAO's ``Policy and Procedures Manual,'' are available from GAO for review and comment. These proposed revisions are intended to reflect changes in technology as well as changes in the law which have occurred since the last edition. Comments are being sought as part of the due process to revise portions of Title 6 and will be considered in the finalizing the revision.
