EPA Proposes Revisions to Motor Vehicle Inspection/Maintenance Requirements for Ozone Transport Regions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes revisions to the motor vehicle Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) requirements, adding a special low enhanced performance standard for qualified areas in Ozone Transport Regions (OTR). The proposed changes aim to provide flexibility to OTR areas that are attainment, marginal, or moderate, allowing them to implement broader I/M programs.
