U.S. Issues Letter of Authorization for Polar Bear and Pacific Walrus Taking

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a letter of authorization to ExxonMobil for the incidental taking of polar bears and Pacific walruses during oil and gas industry exploration activities, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972.
