McDonnell Douglas Model MD-11 Series Airplanes: Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The FAA has issued an amendment to an existing airworthiness directive for certain MD-11 series airplanes, requiring eddy current inspections to detect cracking of upper spar angles and replacing them as the terminating action, to prevent loss of load-carrying and fail-safe capability of the wing pylon.
