Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Decision and Order Granting a Waiver From the Furnace Test Procedure to Carrier Corporation

The Department of Energy has granted a waiver to Carrier Corporation, allowing it to bypass a furnace test procedure for certain consumer products, in order to expedite the evaluation of its induced draft furnaces and enable the company to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient appliances.
