Health Care Programs: Fraud and Abuse; Revisions to the PRO Sanctions Process

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is revising the procedures for imposing and adjudicating program sanctions based on recommendations from State Utilization and Quality Control Peer Review Organizations (PROs), aimed at addressing health care fraud and abuse issues and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) sanctions process.
