Implementation of Eastern Idaho Community Reuse Program

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Worker and Community Transition through the DOE Idaho Operations Office intends to negotiate and award on a noncompetitive basis, Cooperative Number DE- FG07-96ID13398 to Eastern Idaho Economic Development Council (EIEDC) of Idaho Falls, Idaho. The award has an estimated overall total value of up to $10,000,000, of which DOE's share of the estimated two year award will be approximately 100%. The award will assist the efforts of the EIEDC to transition the economy of Eastern Idaho away from a significant level of dependency on the Idaho National Engineering Laboratories (INEL) through diversification.
