IsoStent, Inc. Seeks NRC Rulemaking for Radioisotope Stents

IsoStent, Inc. has submitted a petition to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requesting rulemaking to address the use of permanently implanted intraluminal stents containing phosphorus-32 and strontium-89 radioisotopes, as well as training requirements for physicians who install these stents in patients.
