Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Model A310 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Model A310 series airplanes to address issues with the slat universal joint and steady bearing assemblies. The proposed directive would require repetitive inspections and replacement of affected assemblies to prevent cracking and subsequent failure of the slat transmission system.
