Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for 767 Series Airplanes to Prevent Main Landing Gear Collapse

The directive, effective immediately, requires operators to repair or replace the outer cylinder and aft trunnion bushings to prevent stress corrosion cracking of the main landing gear, following reports of several failures due to aft trunnion outer cylinder fracture.
