Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace; Canandaigua, NY

This proposed rule would establish Class E Airspace at Canandaigua, NY. The development of a new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) at Canandaigua Airport based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface (AGL) is needed to accommodate this SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations to the airport. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
