Federal Acquisition Regulation; Business Meals Withdrawal

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have withdrawn the FAR Case 93-026, Business Meals rule, published in the Federal Register on August 21, 1995, due to public comments. The withdrawn rule aimed to clarify when the costs of meals for contractor employees are allowable, particularly for those not on official travel.
