USITC Launches Investigation into Fresh Tomatoes and Bell Peppers Imports
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) launched an investigation into the impact of increased imports of fresh tomatoes and bell peppers on the domestic industry, following a petition filed by the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association and other groups on March 11, 1996. The investigation aims to determine if the imports are causing serious injury to the domestic industry.
