NLRB Withdraws Proposed Rulemaking for Communications Workers v. Beck Decision

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is withdrawing its proposed rulemaking for implementing the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Communications Workers v. Beck (1988), following recent decisions in California Saw and Knife Works (1995) and United Paperworkers (Weyerhaeuser Paper Co.) (1995), which addressed many of the issues in the proposed rulemaking.
