FCC Grants and Denies Petitions for Reconsideration of 929-930 MHz Paging Exclusivity Order

The FCC has issued a Memorandum Opinion and Order granting and denying petitions for reconsideration of the PCP Exclusivity Order, which established channel exclusivity for qualified local, regional, and nationwide paging systems in the 929-930 MHz band. The order partially grants petitions to increase transmitter power and amend rules to facilitate licensing in the band.
