FDA Proposes Revision to Food Labeling Regulations for 'Healthy' Term

The FDA is proposing to revise its food labeling regulations to allow certain processed fruits and vegetables and enriched cereal-grain products to bear the term 'healthy', in response to petitions from industry groups, in an effort to provide consumers with more accurate information about their dietary choices.
