USDA Issues Guidelines for Experimental Protocols in Meat and Poultry Plants

The Food Safety and Inspection Service has released Directive 10,700.1, outlining procedures for in-plant trials of new technologies and procedures in federally inspected meat and poultry plants, and made it available for public review.
