US Department of Agriculture Increases Tobacco Inspection Fees

The US Department of Agriculture is raising the fee for tobacco inspection from $0.0070 to $0.0083 per pound, effective July 11, 1991, to cover increased program costs and replenish the operating reserve, as required by the Tobacco Inspection Act.
