US Department of Agriculture Proposes Rule to Clarify Overclaim Authority in Child and Adult Care Food Program

The US Department of Agriculture has proposed a rule amendment to the Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations, explicitly authorizing the Department and State agencies to assess overclaims against institutions that fail to meet recordkeeping requirements, following judicial rulings that challenged the existing authority.
