US Treasury Updates Book-Entry Treasury Securities Regulations for Automated Clearing House Payments

The US Treasury Department has amended its regulations governing book-entry Treasury securities to require prenotification messages for Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and to align with the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) procedures, affecting only ACH payments in the TREASURY DIRECT system.
