On-Line Filing Program

Starting October 30, 1996 through January 1, 1997, the IRS will begin acceptance and software testing their On-Line Filing Program. And, by January 12, 1997, the IRS will have the On-Line Filing Program fully operational nationwide. Also, the IRS is expanding its program to accept both Federal and State returns nationwide to be filed electronically in one transmission to the IRS.
