ATF Proposes Definitions for Categories of Persons Prohibited From Receiving Firearms

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is proposing to amend regulations to provide definitions for individuals prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms, aiming to facilitate the implementation of the national instant criminal background check system required under the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act.
