In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair or deceptive acts or practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent order prohibits, among other things, the Rhode Island-based company and its principal officers from making unsubstantiated claims about the ability of any air cleaning product to eliminate, remove, clear or clean any indoor air pollutant--or any quantity of indoor air pollutants--from a user's environment.

Regulatory Agenda
