L'Air Liquide S.A., et al.; Prohibited Trade Practices and Affirmative Corrective Actions: Reopened Consent Order and Prior Approval Policy Statement

The Federal Trade Commission has reopened a 1987 consent order requiring L'Air Liquide to divest certain air separation gases assets and to obtain prior Commission approval for future acquisitions. The order also sets aside the consent order to align with the Commission's Prior Approval Policy Statement, which presumes that setting aside prior approval requirements is in the public interest.
