In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair or deceptive acts or practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent order prohibits, among other things, a New York advertising firm from misrepresenting the amount of fat, calories, or cholesterol in any frozen yogurt, any frozen sorbet, and most ice cream products. This action stems from the firm's role in developing certain advertisements for Haagen-Dazs frozen yogurt products.
