HUD Redelegates Authority for Issuing Loan Guarantees for Indian Housing Program

The Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing is transferring authority to issue Section 184 loan guarantees for Indian housing loans to the Director of the Office of Native American Programs and other officials, as part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Indian Housing program, which guarantees housing loans to Indian families and authorities.
