CFTC Proposes Amendments to Rules on Event Contract Derivatives, Also Known as Prediction Markets

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is proposing changes to its rules regarding event contract derivatives, commonly referred to as prediction markets, to better determine whether these contracts are in the public interest and should not be traded or cleared on CFTC-registered entities.
